These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Patriot Security website and services. By accessing our website or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Patriot Security reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Services Provided

Patriot Security provides home and business security solutions in the Houston, Texas area, including but not limited to:

• Professional installation of alarm systems, security cameras, and sensors
• 24/7 professional monitoring services
• Mobile app access and remote system control
• Technical support and maintenance
• Access control and smart home integration

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice.

Service Agreements & Contracts

Patriot Security does not require long-term contracts. Our monitoring services operate on a month-to-month basis and can be cancelled at any time.

A separate Service Agreement will be provided at the time of installation detailing the specific terms applicable to your system and monitoring plan. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed Service Agreement, the Service Agreement shall prevail.

Installation & Equipment

All equipment installed by Patriot Security remains the property of the customer upon full payment. The following conditions apply:

• Our technicians will assess your property prior to installation to recommend optimal placement
• Customer is responsible for ensuring access to the property at the scheduled installation time
• Any modifications to installed equipment by non-authorized personnel may void warranties
• Patriot Security is not liable for pre-existing structural conditions that affect installation
• All installations are performed by certified technicians following applicable local codes

Monitoring Services

Our 24/7 monitoring service operates under the following conditions:

• Upon receiving an alarm signal, our monitoring center will attempt to contact the customer before dispatching emergency services
• Emergency dispatch is subject to the response procedures of local authorities and is not guaranteed within any specific timeframe
• Patriot Security is not responsible for false alarm fees imposed by local authorities resulting from accidental triggers
• Monitoring service requires an active internet or cellular connection — we provide cellular backup to minimize outages
• Monitoring services may be temporarily suspended for maintenance with advance notice

Payment & Billing

The following payment terms apply to all Patriot Security services:

• Monthly monitoring fees are billed on a recurring basis and are due on the same date each month
• Installation fees are due upon satisfactory completion of the installation
• All prices are listed in US Dollars and are subject to applicable taxes
• Late payments may result in service suspension after reasonable notice
• Refunds for monitoring services are prorated based on the unused portion of the billing period

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as listed during checkout.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your monitoring service at any time by contacting our support team. There are no cancellation fees or penalties. Upon cancellation:

• Monitoring services will remain active through the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are issued for partial months already billed
• Installed equipment remains your property and does not need to be returned
• You may reactivate monitoring services at any time by contacting us

Limitation of Liability

While Patriot Security strives to provide reliable security services, the following limitations apply:

• We do not guarantee that our security systems will prevent all burglaries, fires, or other incidents
• Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the monthly monitoring fee paid for the month in which the incident occurred
• We are not liable for losses resulting from system failures caused by power outages, internet disruptions, or acts of nature beyond our control
• We are not responsible for third-party service interruptions affecting cellular or internet connectivity

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer of Patriot Security, you agree to:

• Provide accurate contact and property information at the time of signup
• Maintain an up-to-date list of authorized contacts for your monitoring account
• Notify us promptly of any changes to your contact information or emergency contacts
• Not tamper with, modify, or attempt to repair installed equipment without authorization
• Inform household members and guests of the security system to prevent false alarms
• Keep login credentials for the mobile app secure and confidential

Warranty

All equipment installed by Patriot Security includes a manufacturer's warranty. In addition, we offer a workmanship guarantee on all installations. If any equipment fails due to a manufacturing defect or installation error within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost.

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, tampering, power surges, or events outside normal operating conditions.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Patriot Security website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Patriot Security and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Harris County, Texas.
